Meat shop sealed in Kulgam’s Gudder after video goes viral

Kulgam, Jan 24: A video wherein a dog is seen trying to eat meat at the meat shop at Gudder area of south kashmiri’s kulgam district went viral, prompting authorities to seal the shop, officials said on Friday.
“A video was shared on social media of a meat shop at Gudder in Kulgam district irked the local community as as the dog was clearly seen eating meat at the shop”, an official told.
Acting swiftly, a team of revenue department led by Naib Tehsildar, raided the shop and got it sealed, the officials said.
Talking to VOI News, Naib Tehsildar Pahloo, Akhter Nabi said “We have seized the meat shop after video goes viral and action under law would be initiated against the butcher”, he said.
