Weather Update: Jammu and Kashmir to Witness Light Snow and Rain in Coming Days
Srinagar, Jan 6: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting light snow and rain in the coming days.
According to the forecast, January 6 is expected to be generally cloudy with light snow at isolated places, with improvement in weather conditions from the afternoon.
From January 7 to 10, the weather is expected to be generally dry, with no significant precipitation.
However, from January 11 to 12, the weather is expected to turn cloudy again, with light rain predicted in the plains of Jammu and light snow at isolated to scattered places in the higher reaches.
The weather is expected to remain dry again from January 13 to 15.
Advisory Issued
In view of the predicted weather conditions, the Meteorological Centre has issued an advisory, warning that slippery roads may temporarily disrupt surface transportation on January 6.
Tourists, travelers, and transporters have been advised to follow the administration and traffic advisory to ensure safe travel.
