Winter Break Announced for Jammu and Kashmir Degree Colleges
Srinagar Dec 20 : The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the schedule for winter vacations for all government degree colleges in the Union Territory. The announcement was made through Government Order No: 574-JK(HE) of 2024, dated December 20, 2024.
According to the order, colleges in different zones will observe vacations at varying times:
Kashmir Division: All government degree colleges in the Kashmir Division will be closed from December 27, 2024, to February 14, 2025.
Jammu Division (Winter Zone): Colleges in the winter zone of the Jammu Division will also observe vacations from December 27, 2024, to February 14, 2025.
Jammu Division (Summer Zone): Colleges falling under the summer zone of the Jammu Division will have a shorter break, from January 1, 2025, to January 10, 2025.
