Government School Teachers in Anantnag Barred from Private Tuitions
Says strict action for violators, monitoring committees to ensure compliance : CEO Anantnag
Anantnag Dec 17 : (ANR) The Chief Education Office (CEO) Anantnag has issued a circular reiterating a blanket ban on private tuitions, employment in private institutions, or coaching centers for all teaching staff under its jurisdiction.
According to order copy issued by CEO Anantnag (Chief Education Officer Anantnag) which one copy lies to Anantnag News Reader and said, ” In view of the directions issued by the School Education Department from time to time and clear instructions already circulated by this office, all the Lecturers, Masters and Teachers working under the administrative control of this office are directed not to practice private tuition, employment in any Private Institution or Coaching Center.
As such, all the DDOS / HOIs are advised to certify that “None of the Lecturer, Master and Teacher is unauthorizedly involved in private tuitions / coaching”. If any teaching personnel are found violating the directives, strict action shall be taken against the official involved, as it amounts to a serious violation of the Jammu & Kashmir Employees Service Conduct Rules 1971.
Moreover, the Zonal level monitoring committees already constituted vide this office No.CEO/A/Estt-II/58761-75/24 Dated: 12.12.2024, for the purpose of monitoring are also put under instructions to maintain strict vigil over the violators of the said directions and prompt reporting to this office thereof.
Any deviation shall invite disciplinary action as warranted under rules” Order Reads. (ANR)
