Weather Update J&K: Chill Returns with Rain and Snow Forecast
Srinagar, Nov 21: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting a mix of dry and wet conditions over the next few days.
According to the forecast, the region will experience generally dry weather from November 21 to 23. However, a western disturbance is expected to bring light rain and light snow to higher reaches on November 24, particularly during the late night to forenoon hours.
The weather will turn dry again from November 25 to 30, making way for another spell of light rain and light snow on December 1. The dry spell will return from December 2 to 5.
Temperature Fluctuations
The minimum temperature is expected to drop by 1-2°C at many stations over the next two days, followed by a slight rise on November 23 and 24.
