Weather Update: Jammu and Kashmir to Remain Dry Till November 7
Srinagar, Oct 28: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast predicting generally dry weather conditions to prevail across Jammu and Kashmir till November 7.
According to the forecast, October 28 will remain dry, providing favorable conditions for farmers to continue harvesting and storing their crops.
However, a brief spell of cloudy weather is predicted on October 29, with a possibility of light rain or light snow over the higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir.
Thereafter, the weather is expected to remain dry from October 30 to November 7, with no significant weather activity forecasted during this period.
Farmers have been advised to utilize this dry spell to complete their harvesting, ensure safe storage of harvested crops, and attend to other farm operations.
Additionally, the Met Centre Srinagar has warned of possibility of mist or shallow fog over the plains of Kashmir during morning hours from November 1 onwards.
