Dry Spell Ahead for Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 24: (ANR) The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a dry spell in Jammu and Kashmir, with no significant weather activity expected till November 5. According to the forecast, the region will experience generally dry weather from October 24 to 28.
Chance of Light Rain/Snow on October 29
However, on October 29, the weather is expected to turn generally cloudy, with a possibility of very light rain or light snow over the higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir. But this brief spell of cloudiness will be short-lived.
Dry Weather to Continue
The dry weather will continue from October 30 to 31 and extend till November 5, providing favorable conditions for farmers to complete their harvesting and farm operations without any disruptions.
Farmer Advisory
The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting, ensure safe storage of harvested crops, and carry out other farm operations. This advisory aims to help farmers make the most of the dry spell. (ANR)
