The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially announced the uniform academic calendar for the academic session 2024-25 for the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh ⁴. This move aims to synchronize the academic schedules across both regions, promoting a uniform and organized educational framework.
Key Highlights of the Academic Calendar ¹:
– Class 10 exams: Commence from the second week of March 2025 (soft zone areas) and the second week of April 2025 (hard zone areas)
– Class 11 exams: Begin in the last week of March 2025 (soft zone areas) and the last week of April 2025 (hard zone areas)
– Class 12 exams: Start from the first week of March 2025 (soft zone areas) and the second week of April 2025 (hard zone areas)
– Result declaration:
– Class 10: Third week of June 2025
– Class 11: Last week of June 2025
– Class 12: Second week of June 2025
Registration Details ¹:
– Class 9 registration: August 1 to August 31, 2024 (with late fees applicable until September 30, 2024)
– Renewal of registration for Classes 11 and 12: August 1 to August 31, 2024 (with late fees applicable until September 30, 2024)
