Pahalgam Ups Tourist Experience with Uniform Policy for Service Providers

Anantnag Mar 22 (ANR) : In a move to ensure a smooth and professional experience for visitors, tourist trade stakeholders in Pahalgam have unanimously adopted a uniform policy for their staff. This Step signifies a commitment to enhancing professionalism and efficiency within the tourist sector.

Under the new policy, all tourist service providers, including taxi stands, hotels, restaurants, and guest houses, to adopt uniforms and nameplates for their staff members who interact directly with tourists.

Taxi operators are specifically asked to wear green uniforms and keep jute bags in their taxis for collecting unwanted items.

Moreover all stakeholders have been advised to strictly adhere to the policy to ensure its successful implementation.

This initiative by Pahalgam’s tourist trade stakeholders sets a positive example for the industry, highlighting the importance of professionalism in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for visitors.(ANR)
