JKBOSE Modifies Circular on Academic Gap for 2022, Clarifies Certificate Details

Srinagar Nov 18 (ANR) :In a recent update, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a modification to Circular No: F (Acad-c)/Gap-22/KD/WZ/23 dated 16-10-2023. The circular pertains to the clarification regarding the Gap of Academic year 2022 for students in Kashmir Division, Winter Zone Areas of

Jammu Division of UT of J&K, and U.T of Ladakh.

According to order copy issued by JKBOSE which  read by ANANTNAG NEWS READER said, The revised information states that Diploma Certificates for students of Classes 10th & 12th, Annual Regular session 2023 in Kashmir Division, Winter Zone Areas of Jammu Division of UT of J&K, and U.T of Ladakh will now bear the same session as mentioned on their Marks Certificates, i.e., “Annual 2023.” This is a departure from the previous instruction, which mentioned “Annual Regular 2021-22/23.”

The certificates will now include a specific note at the bottom, stating, “Academic Session Annual Regular 2021-22 shifted to Academic Session 2022-23 due to the adoption of Uniform Academic Calendar.”

This modification aims to provide clarity and ensure uniformity in the representation of academic sessions on the Diploma Certificates. Students and concerned stakeholders are advised to take note of this update for accurate documentation.
