Change in School Timings in Srinagar City Effective October 1, 2023

Srinagar Sep 30 (ANR) :The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, under the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has issued an order to change the school timings for all government and private recognized schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar city.
In an official notification released on September 30, 2023, with order number 244 DSEK of 2023, it has been clearly stated that starting from October 1, 2023, all schools in Srinagar city will follow new timings.
As per the directive, the revised school timings will be from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, effectively extending the school day by one hour. This change supersedes all previous orders regarding school timings in the region.(ANR)
