A Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) Meeting was today held at Police Station Panzla to strengthen Police Public relations.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Panzla Insp. Parveen Kumar and was attended by Sarpanchs, Panchs, Masjid Imams, Traders federations of Panzla and its adjacent areas.
During the meeting various issues of public importance including eradication of drug abuse, Food adulteration, scarcity of drinking water were discussed. Speaking on the occasion, the chairing officer said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support of people for better Policing.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, the chairing officer assured that these issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal and added that Police will provide its legal support as and when required for the betterment of the society.
The participants were stressed to co-operate with Sopore Police in identifying Anti-National and Anti-Social elements who try to disrupt the peaceful environment.
