Training on needle stick injury conducted at AHGMC Anantnag
Every possible effort should be done for its prevention (MS GMC)
Today a training session was conducted at AHGMC Anantnag (lecture Hall 1) regarding needle stick injury
Which was attended by the Incharge Nursing Officers.
The training was a part of continuous Medical education with the focus on subjects related with patient care.
Medical Superintendent Dr Aubid Malik in his inaugural address welcomed the audience.
He further added Awareness followed by protection is the only means through which safety can be ensured.
Ms Nuzhata Nazir who was speaker of today’s event provides indepth information about the topic Needle stick injury it’s prevention, risk assessment and Post exposure prophylaxis.
At the End Valedictory session was conducted presented by programme coordinator Urfan Manzoor and certificates were distributed by Worthy Medical Superintendent AHGMC Anantnag among participants.
The session concluded by vote of Thanks presented by Matron Mam Humaira Nabi.
