Serum-Based Electrolytes Investigations panel inaugurated at Govt. Medical College Baramulla
In a significant step towards improving patient care, the GMC Baramulla inaugurated the Serum-Based Electrolytes Investigations panel on 11, May 2023 The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Principal of GMC Baramulla, Dr (Prof) Ruby Reshi, along with Dr Parvaiz Masoodi, the Medical Superintendent of Associated Hospital and the Heads of the Departments of Pathology, Medicine, and Bio-Chemistry.
Serum-Based Electrolytes Investigations is a cutting-edge laboratory testing method that measures the levels of electrolytes in a patient’s bloodstream. Dr Mosin Saleem Khan, Assistant Professor, Bio-Chemistry and In-charge of the Central Laboratory was also present at the inauguration ceremony. In addition, the in-charges of the Medical Records Department (MRD) and other staff members were also in attendance.
During the ceremony, Professor Ruby Reshi expressed her delight at the introduction of the Serum-Based Electrolytes Investigations panel in the hospital. She highlighted the importance of advanced laboratory testing in improving patient care and commended the efforts of the Departments in making this innovation a reality.
The Medical Superintendent of Associated Hospital and the Heads of the Departments of Pathology, Medicine, and Bio-Chemistry also spoke about the benefits of Serum-Based Electrolytes Investigations and their potential for enhancing healthcare services at GMC Baramulla.
